Our Story

After spending years of helping my aunt take care of the children she babysat, in the summer of sixth grade, I registered to attend a Red Cross babysitting training session with a friend from school.

After completing our training session, we decided to expand our babysitting services and donate all our proceeds to an organization for children in Brazil which is committed to providing food and quality shelter for under priviliged children and adolescents. After seeing such tangible results from our donations, in the cards of gratitude we received from children of the organization, and an allocation of our donations from the organization, we knew we had to expand the Parent Relief Club’s efforts to support other organizations for children globally.

Over the past few summers, we have worked closely with the North Bethesda United Methodist Church Missions Group who distributes our earnings to various children’s organizations locally, nationally and globally.

We are convinced that with your help, we can expand our services to make a larger impact in the lives of children and parents both within our neighborhoods and our larger global community.
