Video tour of the 300W solar power system on my Sunseeker 2300 Class C motorhome. This might help people who have and idea about the big picture, but have questions about routing, placement, and miscellaneous hardware. I previously had a weatherproof charge controller mounted under the chassis by the battery box. It worked but when the engine had been running, the temperature remained too warm, which fooled that controller into setting the charging voltage too low. So I bought this Renogy flush mount PWM charge controller and mounted it inside as shown in the video. I’m not an expert, but I do feel I used at least the same standards of caution and care that the RV builder did. (That’s not necessarily saying much, lol.) I have added a Blue Sea 150A catastrophic terminal fuse at the batteries, by the way. The RV builder didn’t even have that.
