RV & Travel Trailer Solar Install for $300
Hi all
Last year I installed this solar panel and charging circuit in my travel trailer for hunting season. It worked out really well and extended my batteries by a few days even with the limited sun in November (btw it was crazy warm last year in Canada).
One of the unique things I did was to use a 110v receptacle and plug to connect the panel to the charger. This allows me to connect and disconnect the panel easily and to re-use it on other things like going camping just with my truck. All you need is to wire a second solar controller to a battery and off you go.
Below is a breakdown of all the costs and where I bought everything.
I hope you find this useful!
Kind regards
Michael & Esme
