These panels are the most affordable 100w panels on ebay. Both panels are made in China. I bought the Both panels for about $120 with free shipping outside of ebay. I contacted both sellers outside of ebay and because they don’t have to pay ebay fees..they don’t have to pass along that cost to you. I purchased the Windy Nation panel for $120 with free shipping outside of Ebay. The Windy Nation panels also come with MC4 connectors. Renogy’s customer service is much better. They are both located in Southern California and it took 3 days to ship to me in Northern California from Renogy. Windy Nation Took Approx. 6 days after a few days processing of my order. Renogy is better to order from. In my comparison i used a recently calibrated Fluke series 83 True RMS Multi-Meter. The load was a 12v car headlight bulb. The load, the wires, the meter, the sun, the angle to the sun were all exactly the same to provide a fair test. The sky was clear in November 2013 when this was taken. As you can see in the video the open circuit voltage is almost identical but the loaded output current was not. Renogy’s panel had over a full amp more output than Windy Nation’s panel. The Renogy panel is slightly larger in physical size. Although the Windy Nation panel is 5 dollars cheaper for my moeny i would say that the Renogy 100w Polycrystalline is a better value. I tried to keep everything equal and fair and i wanted to see which panel gave the best output for the money, i didn’t care which did better i just wanted to know and wanted to share my findings.
