ReneSola Virtus II Solar Panel Features | Installation at Mazenod College | Victoria, Australia

ReneSola Australia is part of a multinational manufacturer of premium Tier 1 solar panels and a supplier of quality solar inverters, racking, balance of systems and more recently a manufacturer of energy efficient LED Lighting. (au.renesola.com)

We started trading in Australia in 2012, and soon became one of the most sought after Premium Tier 1 panels in the market. In fact is 2013 and 2014 more Renesola panels were installed in Australia than any other panel.

Our National footprint enables us to warehouse stock close to where it is needed and ensures we can provide the best and most responsive local technical support. Renesola is passionate about ensuring everyone in Australia at least has access to energy efficient products of the highest quality at an affordable price.

At Mazenod College, (Victoria-Australia) ReneSola has a 269kW project, which consists of 1076 ReneSola Virtus II solar panels. The system will deliver on average across the year more than 1000 kilowatt hours of power daily. In terms of their carbon footprint, they will be saving approximately 350 tonnes annually thereby reducing their impact on climate change.

The solar panels installed here are our Virtus II Multicrystalline panels. Our competitive advantage comes from our expertise in wafer technology. As we started life as a wafer manufacturer, and in fact currently the 2nd largest worldwide, this expertise is really in our DNA. Through using the highest quality materials and innovative manufacturing techniques we have drastically improving the wafers grain uniformity enabling higher efficiency’s, industry leading temperature coefficients and set a new standard in low light performance.

So what does that all mean?
More power every day for the life of the panel.

ReneSola Virtus II solar panels come standard with Potential Induced Degradation-FREE certification, which means, All panels ReneSola supplies into Australia have this premium feature.

Potential Induced Degradation (PID), is most prevalent is areas where the panels experience high temperatures and high humidity, it’s the hidden killer of solar panels. The end result of panels affected by PID is a drastically reduced output over a relatively short time. This makes this feature a necessity for the greater majority of systems installed in Australia.

So how do we achieve this?
Through the manufacturing process, it is through a combination of quality materials such as premium wafers, PID resistant EVA (backing sheet), quality low-iron tempered glass and most importantly the quality of the manufacturing process. None of this comes cheap, so the price of a panel really reveals a lot about its quality.

Enervest has been a long standing preferred partner with ReneSola Australia, and we feel honoured to be a part of this project.

The Mazenod College has made a great decision on installing a Solar PV system which will enable the College to use it is as a teaching aid, encouraging greater awareness of alternative energies, respect for the planet and alternatives to our excessive life style through more sustainable living. There is of course the other advantage of lower cost power.
