The system uses three 250W Suntech modules, two 180Ah lead-acid batteries, a Morningstar TriStar MPPT 60A controller and inverters from Victron and Mastervolt.
The TriStar MPPT controller does maximum power point tracking (MPPT), which means it keeps the PV modules at the optimum voltage to maximise power generation.
