Off Grid Solar Power – Testing the 100W Solar Power System
If you’ve been watching my journey into learning about solar power, you’ll notice that I’ve upgraded my simple solar system; I now have a 120AH AGM battery that I picked up second hand.
I decided to run the fridge off this one battery to see just how long I COULD run the fridge for. Numbers are great if you know exactly what you’re working with, but the second hand battery was an unknown quantity. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to run the fridge constantly, but I was still surprised that it managed to run for close to 12 hours.
