Flexible solar panels can be glued together into larger units and then simply rolled out onto a metal roof prepared with lines of glue. The strips are around 100W so the panels form 400W. Another two panels are prepared so this roof will have a capacity of 1600W, possibly with space for another couple of strips. Space has to be provided for walkways and for leaves to be swept should they fall on top.
