Special thanks to my neighbor for letting me place these six haystacks in my backyard. I will use these as lean-to solar stands while I construct a permanent tilting solar panel stand. My Renogy RNG-100D 12v monocrystalline solar panels should be in Wednesday. With the addition of these six panels, my total solar panel array power will be 4,300 watts. I use this power to charge my partial off-grid home solar power station in my garage. It consists of three MPPT solar charge controllers (Midnite Solar), 12 Trojan L16E-AC 6v batteries (1,140 amp/hours at 24v), an Outback Power VFX 3524 inverter/charger, and Reliance Controls Protran 6-circuit power transfer panel. I am about to reduce my electric bill by well over 50% and have 24/7 full off-grid power if needed in an emergency. I also have a Honda eu2000i Companion portable generator/inverter if needed also. I started doing solar over two years ago when the F5 tornado blew through Moore, OK and we all lost power.
