I finally installed my solar system for my homestead! I went with an Outback Radian 8048a, 2 midnite Classic 200 charge controllers, 24 Suniva 325 Watt modules and a SBS 930 ah battery bank. This is a Hybrid battery back up system with room to expand. I look forward to running all types of gizmos and also adding on experimental charge controllers, wind turbines, Hydro etc.
These panels were bought on eBay from Fred480v for $1,650. As of the time of posting this video he only has the 9KW Stion Solar Panels left. http://stores.ebay.com/480v-solar?_trksid=p2047675.l2568 However he is selling some other panels. These are the Stion STN-120 panels. Each one is rated at 120watts and there are 25 panels. The inverter we think we are going to buy is the STM Sunny Boy 3000TL-US.
