This is a simple passive solar panel cooler to increase the solar panel output. Solar panels get hot in the sun. Solar panels actually loose their efficiency with an increase in temperature.
By cooling your solar panels, you can see a noticeable gain in output power. This is a simple $10 passive solar cooling rack.
The tires off to the side is what the solar panels were laying on before. They are out in the middle of a meadow on a 90 acre wild forested property. The tires were a temporary solution to keep the solar panels off the ground until the rack was built.
