This is an amazing camper. Just took it on a 5,000 mile trip and it runs like a top. This rig has been simply fantastic. No need for plugins. I boon docked all over the country, simply dumping and refilling tanks when needed. The Solar set up works wonderfully and powers all electonics. laptop. monitor. phone flawlessly and I’m a pretty heavy tech user, working remote from my laptop / wifi.. The coach battery level rarely goes below 85% and then charges it back up the next day (given sun)

All renovations and repairs were done to a very high standard of work. The transmission was rebuilt in 2005 and a cooler was added. The bulk of the renovation and upgrades were completed in 2015. All windows were removed and resealed with butyl tape. Kitchen was completely redone with Ikea counter top and sink. Allure vinyl floors were put in. An entire Solar 150w /208AH Solar / battery system installed.

Solar Setup: 150 Monocrystalline panel installed on an adjustable bracket on roof. 2x6v 208AH Interstate GC2 batteries linked to a Tri-metric Solar Controller, Morningstar 300w inverter which was custom wired into AC wall plugs with a switch to turn it on /off. Tri-metric TM-2025A battery meter to check all of your solar activity in a very functional wall panel view. This is truly a solar system install to behold. The previous owner built airplanes and set this rig up in a very thoughtful and detailed manner. He did an amazing job. I will take a video in the next day or two of this entire setup and do a walk through on the whole rig. The power box was replaced with Progressive Dynamics PD4045 controller. A slide out battery box was built and installed to hold the solar batteries where the generator used to live.

1987 All fiberglass Sunrader ( this one was made in Indiana, so it doesn’t have the leak prone wrap-around windows that were on the CA produced Sunraders)

This Solar Boat has been designed by LG / Korea and made available to us through the Dept. of Physics, Pune University, India. This is a pre-made kit. The heart is a solar panel attached to a toy motor with a worm gear. The motor spins when the sun shines on the solar panel. Place the motor in its casing. Then assemble the boat body which is made of Styrofoam. These two mounts have a hole where the main axle will come. In the front is the pilot. And this is the mount for the solar panel. This mount enables the solar panel to be tilted so as to catch the sun. Place the motor along the worm gear in place. Also place the solar panel on its mount. Place the axle with the gear in the middle and with two paddles on its ends. This is the entire assembly of the solar boat. The worm gear of the motor rotates the gear on the axle and which spins the paddles. The solar panel angle can be adjusted to face the sun. On placing in the sun the solar panel will provide the current to run the motor which in turn will spin the paddles. When the solar panel is in a shadow no electricity is produced and the motor. Place the solar boat in a big tub of water. In sunlight the boat will go forwards, but in shadow it will stop because the solar panel will not produce any electricity.
