Proof of concept design. I found a bundle of polystyrene for $7, Gorilla Glue for $6 and two tin turkey pans for $2.
I doubled the polystyrene layers and glued it all into a rectangle. Lined inside with cardboard I had laying around and spray painted it (and the turkey pans) black. Pulled some cheap plastic liner over the top and pinned it down (not permanent, just for testing).
Installed 12v computer fan and battery on one end and let ‘er rip!
Next project: Upgrade to wood frame with insulation and sealed top for window to be held in place with clamps for easy on/off for maintenance.
