This video covers off the majority of my solar system setup. The inverter has been shifted since I videoed it a couple of months back and it is very difficult to get a good video of it now, so that and the DC busbar have not been shown. The rest of it though, warts and all, is in this video.
Yes, it isn’t all ideal. I know that. This is a long term project and it is as always a work in progress. As I save up money I buy things but I do not leave myself short as going hungry is a bad idea.

OK, I UPGRADED MY SOLAR NIGHT LIGHT. AT FIRST IT SEEM LIKE IT WAS WORKING GOOD BUT THE LIGHT WOULD DIE OUT A FEW HOURS AFTER THE SUN HAD GONE DOWN. I THINK ITS BECAUSE THE SOLAR SIDEWALK LIGHTS GET DIRECT SUN LIGHT MOST OF THE DAY. THIS WAS HANGING IN MY WINDOW GETTING LIGHT BE NOT ENOUGH TO GIVE THE BATTERY A GOOD CHARGE. SO I WAS AT THE DOLLAR TREE AGAIN THE OTHER DAY LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO HANG IN THE WINDOW SO I COULD HIDE THE SOLAR CELL BEHIND AND BIG ENOUGH TO ADD ONE MORE CELL. AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE VIDEO I FOUND THIS PRINCESS
WINDOW HANGER THE YOU HAVE TO PAINT.
AFTER PAINTING IT I GLUED THE ORIGINAL SOLAR SELL BEHIND IT AND ADDED ONE MORE CELL TO IT. IN THE NIGHT LIGHT BASE I TOOK IT BACK APART AND ADDED TWO JUMPER WIRES TO ANOTHER BATTERY TERMINAL AND ADDED 1 MORE BATTERY.
FOR THE PAST TWO NIGHTS IT HAS BEEN RUNNING LIKE THIS. THE LIGHT STAYS ON TILL I GO TO BED. I DON’T KNOW HOW LONG IT SAYS ON FOR BUT LAST NIGHT I WENT TO BED AT 12am AND THE LIGHT WAS STILL ON AND BRIGHT.
