Charging a 6 volt Battery with a 12 volt solar panel inside.
This is just a little experiment I did while working on my solar charger in the previous video found here:
and this was done after the LED mod in the video otherwise I don’t think it would have worked.
What I found is if I leave my solar charger connected the the 6v battery while I’m working in the shop, the solar charger actually charges the battery using only the flourescent light overhead.
Anyway, watch the video to see the results.
I wouldn’t recommend doing this unless you keep an eye on it in case something goes wrong.
So do this at your own risk.
