The is made from an ordinary metal satellite dish, it is covered in about 5000 3/8″ (~1cm) mirror tiles. This isnt a good dish for that kind of project, because it is not accurate. That is why each of the 5000 mirrors are MANUALY aimed to a same spot using a regular bulb.It took me about 45 days to glue all of them. It turns out that a laser where a better choise, beacuse the bulb disperses the light more, and because of that the focal point isnt at the right place and has no intensity like the one from Eric Jacqmain with 5800 mirrors. I am looking now for a much more precise satellite dish for my next project. I hope to have more luck looking for that kind of a dish.

Many Solar YouTubers are not using HRC fuses. They instead install normal fuses or breakers that are not able to safely disconnect in the event of a short across the battery. Some have no fuses or breakers at all! Some are cautious of the volts, but I don’t see ANY scared of the AMPS.
