My OFF-Grid Renogy 100 watt solar panels are in series and parallel for 24 volts, run to a Morningstar tristar TS MPPT 45 amp. charge controller, charging a 12 volts battery bank. I have one in North Alabama U.S.A. I have a solar panel system 600 watts and 8 – 6volts golf cart batteries 12volts inverter to run a refrigerator wrt359sfyw it takes about .90kwh per day.It will take me 8 years to break Even and start get my money back If nothing breaks down . and it takes ALL 600 watts to keep the batteries charged. the solar panel are expose to sun all day. off-grid you lose.
