I put together this pond aerator for my 1 acre pond. I used a 35W 12v air pump I found on ebay for keeping fish tanks on truck aerated, combined with a 12v deep cycle marine battery, 60 watts of polychrystaline solar panels and 7A 12V charge controller. For the end of the vinyl tubing I just used the 5 outlet manifold that came with the air pump and didn’t bother with an air stone or diffuser. I hope that the improved oxygen levels will keep down duck weed and algae, and also improve fish growth.
