I changed my previous configuration and replaced the 260W micro inverter with 1200W inverter plus a solar charge controller and a 100Ah battery. The inverter is connected to my apartment grid through a power outlet on the balcony. This outlet is part of my living room circuit so it turned out to be quite convenient because this is where we spend most of the time after sunset. This is where we have several lights, the TV, the cable box, surround system, Internet gateway and several plugs we can use for charging phones, tablets, laptops. The way the system is set up at the moment, I am charging the battery during the day and use it to “run” my living room.
