Inverter jenis ini (GTI) hanya akan bekerja/mengeluarkan arus AC bila jaringan PLN sedang hidup saja. Jadi tidak bisa dijadikan back up power bila PLN mati.
Frequensi dan tegangan keluaran dari GTI sama/sinkron dengan tegangan & freq listrik PLN.
