A simple and educational toy, you can made it for your children, to make a present or for your fun !!
You need :
- 1 plastic bottle
- 4 plastic cork
- 1 elastic
- 2 stick of wood
-1 electric motor in cc , recoverable from old printers and recorders or some appliances
- 2 electric wires
- 1 solar cell capable of delivering at least 120 mA, usually printer motors or computer ones that open automatically drawers or CD holders do not require high voltages are enough 3-5 volts but at least 120 mA to turn so do not worry about the voltage but the current , a power of 0.8 W or more is fine.
To get them you can find on internet or you can open an old solar lamp for gardens
_______________________________________
AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE SOLAR CELL you can use simple 9 V battery to power the motor
TOOLS :
- scissors or cutter to cut the bottle and wooden sticks
- awl or screwdriver to puncture the bottle and caps
- hot glue or vinavil glue to attach the wheels, the motor and the solar cell
-For those who possess a welder for electronic soldering wires or “cut” the bottle otherwise simple tape to secure the electrical contacts
I hope you try your hand at this project so have fun !!
Oh I forgot if you have not already done so subscribe and comment !!
Final installment of my solar project install videos. 44.4 kW off-grid solar system online! http://wk057.solar/ for stats and updates soon.
Sorry for the delay in getting this video edited and posted! I just hadn’t had the time to go through the nine days of footage until recently.
Be sure to check out my roof install video and part 1 of this video if you haven’t already!

Time lapse is various speeds depending on whats going on. For example, the wiring portions where it doesn’t seem like much changes are played much faster than say, the panel placement portions. I think it came together pretty well.
