Just a short update of what is going on at the off grid cabin. We made it home just to take time off and do a little to the cabin and around the homestead. Just figured what the hey and came home. Needed a break from the road and needed to go HOME.
We added a shower inside the house (not finished yet but functional.
Put up some more insulation.
Did some plumbing to get water from barrels to inside of the cabin.
Put in a new 10.3 Cubic Foot Fridge/Freezer.
Put in a temp kitchen sink. All of this still needs work but we are getting there on our small budget.
Our solar and wind is working great. Our solar powered both our fridge in the truck and in the cabin with no problems even when we had no wind to speak of last night.
I think we have plenty of solar and batteries for now.
both fridges together pull 1500 watts and we gather 2500 watts just on solar. With 420 amp hours of battery storage.
Hope you enjoy the update and we will put up videos on how we did the plumbing and shower/ sink install.
Please like, comment and share. Thanks for watching and God Bless.
Have a great independence holiday and for my Canadian friends Have a blessed Canada Day.
