If you live in Florida it will probably work all year round … if you live in Alaska then not even in summer. If you live somewhere in between … will probably work short time in spring (1-2 hours), several hours during summer and reduced again in autumn, but not during winter time, but won’t work below freeze anyway …
We are using it in a fish pond and we didn’t want to attach the fountain with the suction cup and liked to let if freely floating around. With the nozzles too much water loss (sprinkling outside), hence just removed the extension and nozzle and now it’s working great for the main propose – adding some extra oxygen to the fish pond – especially during summer when water gets quite warm and oxygen will be low.
