15.7kW (DC) roof portion of my solar system is finally installed and complete. This video has 300x time lapse footage of the install of 36 SunPower 435W panels on my roof, along with some photos taking during the install and some photos and footage from my Phantom 2 drone.
This is not a grid tied system. It is an off-grid system with battery storage (191kWh worth of lithium ion batteries from salvaged Tesla Model S’s). You’ll see at the end of the video that my utility meter is completely stopped and doesn’t spin backwards or forwards now.
