Hi I am Zain, class V, Appa public school kalaburagi.I have made solar boat. I made it from scrap of home. Packing box, straw, motor (9v) , LED, solar panel and connecting wires. Assembling is done by glue gun. Solar energy is used to run the propeller of the boat. I have further ideas to store the solar energy in batteries and run the boat at night. I am working on making solar air cooler. Shortly I will be back with my new project.

Off grid solar power – Electricity production compared to electricity usage
A very non-scientific test just to show some of the losses/inefficiencies in off grid solar power. The inverter uses electricity to convert from DC to AC electricity. The batteries have their own internal resistance, meaning they always take more power than they give up.
