There’s a video about a modification to the MingHe BST400 which appears to speed up it’s voltage rise time. I thought I’d give it a try.
EDIT: I accused the BST400 of having an unstable output at the maximum output voltage (80V). I got that wrong. Checking with a DVM, I found the filament LED to be faulty – not the boost converter.
